This is a six-week project for History of Graphic Design. Each student is assigned with 2 designers. Students are asked to make an accordion book that include each designer’s life events and 15 historical events in a timeline manner.
I was assigned with Cipe Pineless and Koichi Sato. The two designers have very different style and subjects, therefore I use color to separate information of each designer. A pastel pink is used for Cipe Pineless to celebrate her legacy as one of the first female art directors. A neutral dark grey is used for Koichi Sato as a respond to his exploration of Zen in graphic design.
